” So we’re nestled in our cozy studios and none other than Jay-Z pulls a drive-by on HOT97’s Angie Martinez show this afternoon. The living legend dished on staying grounded and his love for the Yankees. He jokingly nicknamed Derek Jeter ‘Jeter 3000′. After preliminary conversation about working out, running and boxing incase he has to “drag somebody down the street”, he dispels rumors of a bubbling feud between himself and his apprentice of sorts, Kayne West. “Yes, we get on each other’s nerves but that’s part of pushing each other…we push each other to be greater but that’s about it” said Jay. As for the MUCH anticipated ‘Watch the Throne’ album, Jay is rating it a full 10! The August 8th release is confirmed and it will be available on iTunes August 12th. What an exciting day at the office! “
