by DG

Yeah you read the title right… how to sell drugs. This might be the most self-incriminating thing I’ve ever witnessed. He gave out enough information to rent a cell on Rikers. Pretty interesting though.

Film: The Gangster Squad (Movie Trailer)

by DG

Gangsta movies is back, gangsta movies is back, all these trailers poppin up cuz gangsta movies is back!

Los Angeles, 1949. Ruthless, Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) runs the show in this town, reaping the ill-gotten gains from the drugs, the guns, the prostitutes and–if he has his way–every wire bet placed west of Chicago. And he does it all with the protection of not only his own paid goons, but also the police and the politicians who are under his control. It’s enough to intimidate even the bravest, street-hardened cop…except, perhaps, for the small, secret crew of LAPD outsiders led by Sgt. John O’Mara (Josh Brolin) and Jerry Wooters (Ryan Gosling), who come together to try to tear Cohen’s world apart. “Gangster Squad” is a colorful retelling of events surrounding the LAPD’s efforts to take back their nascent city from one of the most dangerous mafia bosses of all time.

I have no idea is this has been confirmed but I decided to post it because this is the best impression I’ve seen. He sounds exactly like him. If they do this movie, this needs to be the last. Let that man rest in peace.

Film: Ice Cube Confirms Another Friday Is In The Works

by DG

If the contracts can be worked out, this one will include Smokey (Chris Tucker) and Day-Day (Mike Epps). I don’t care how good the movie is… it will never live up to the hype we are about to witness. Below is the TMZ report.

The speculation is over … Ice Cube has finally confirmed he’s resurrecting the ‘Friday’ franchise … telling TMZ the goal is to bring back the entire ORIGINAL cast … including Chris Tucker.

A rep for Cube Vision Productions tells us … “Absolutely yes the studio is in the process of getting the entire original cast to do another ‘Friday.’”

The statement continues, “[Ice Cube] is very excited about this and has every intention to make it happen.”

Just last month, TMZ spoke with the musclebound behemoth who played DeBo … who told us both he and Chris Tucker are down to reunite for the 4th installment of the ‘Friday’ franchise … but they still have to work out their contracts.

Of course, nothing is ever official until the ink is dry — and you know this … MAN!

Film: Uncle Luke’s Picture Selected For Sundace Festival

by DG

I’ve been making arrangements to attend Sundance Film Festival this year so maybe I can get some tickets for to view this. Sundance is a huge honor and if he wins his category he will most likely be nominated for an Oscar. Luke’s statement is below.

“It’s an honor to have a highly respected organization such as the Sundance Film Institute recognize me and my life as an important part of American culture by adding “The Life and Freaky Times of Uncle Luke” to their 2012 line up.”

I could’ve swore I seen this a long time ago but maybe they re-upped it for Halloween. It’s the visuals to Kid Cudi’s “Maniac” that follows two serial killers documenting their exploits. Directed by Shia LaBeouf, who also directed “Marijuana” for Cudi.

Short Film: Big Boi – The Crown Life

by DG

In celebration of Crown Royal Black’s partnership with Big Boi, cameras went behind the scenes to document Big Boi in compelling moments of his life and career that showcase his definition of “The Crown Life.” The short film lets audiences into Big Boi’s life as he performed during the 2011 Grammy Awards weekend; inside his studio, Stankonia, as he prepares for his latest projects; and an evening out on the town in his hometown of Atlanta with stops at his favorite spots to unwind.
