Lil Wayne Speaks About Chris Brown, D. Wade & Lebron

by DG

In the new issue of Rolling Stone, Weezy discussed how he felt about having Chris Brown on the Carter IV.

“I cannot have Chris Brown rapping on Tha Carter IV,” said Wayne of keeping the “Look At Me Now” for himself instead of Chris Brown. “He ain’t sound bad. He’s spitting. But come on, man! Do you know how many rappers would be like, ‘I can’t get on Tha Carter IV, but this ni**a put Chris Brown on that bitch? Rapping?”

But since Dwayne is such a nice and thoughtful person, “Look At Me Now” was left for Chris Brown to have. “You can’t take a ni**a’s song and take him off of it. That’s saying a whole lot. That’s like telling him, ‘I think this shit is hotter without you,’” admitted Weezy. “I would feel played if a ni**a did me that way.”

In the same interview he spoke about Dwayne Wade and Lebron James not speaking to him when he sits courtside.

When Wayne sat court-side at a recent Miami Heat/New Orleans Hornets game he was upset that Lebron James and Dwayne Wade never came over to talk to him. “Them nigg*s never speak to a nigg*,” he says. “They don’t chuck me the deuce or nothing. Nigg* spent all that money on them f*cking tickets … Come holla at me. We sit right by them little b*tch-ass nigg*s. At least come ask me why I’m not rooting for you.”

Lil Wayne Covers The Feburuary Issue Of Rolling Stone

by J.Waves

Weezy F Baby is back on the cover of Rollingstone. He earlier graced the cover a year back when he was just about to head to prison. This issue hits newsstands January 21st but till then, here are some excerpts:

“I’d bust a nigga’s ass at Uno, We gamble for phone time. I’d take nigga’s commissary: Lemme get them cookies, lemme get them chips, get that soup.”

Eventually his cellmates stopped inviting him to games. “They’d be like, ‘Oh, we thought you were asleep,’” Wayne says. “Like you can’t look inside my cell and see that I’m right there! We ain’t got no doors!”

When Wayne sat court-side at a recent Miami Heat/New Orleans Hornets game he was upset that Lebron James and Dwayne Wade never came over to talk to him. “Them niggas never speak to a nigga,” he says. “They don’t chuck me the deuce or nothing. Nigga spent all that money on them f**king tickets… Come holla at me. We sit right by them little b**ch-ass niggas. At least come ask me why I’m not rooting for you.”

John Lennon’s Last and Final Interview is Released

by DG

As for his Beatles buddies, Lennon intimated that he would be open to returning to the road with Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. However, he saw no need to rush any reunion, putting it to the interviewer that “there’s plenty of time, right?”

“We just might do it. But there will be no smoke bombs, no lipstick, no flashing lights. It just has to be comfy. But we could have a laugh. We’re born-again rockers, and we’re starting over.

“There’s plenty of time, right? Plenty of time.”

There’s that bittersweetness we were talking about.

The topics of conversation only grew in depth and breadth from there (though nine hours of talking will do that to you).

“Give peace a chance, not shoot people for peace,” Lennon said at one point. “All you need is love, I believe that. I’m not claiming divinity. I’ve never claimed divinity. I’ve never claimed purity of soul. I’ve never claimed to have the answer to life. I can’t live up to people’s expectations of me, because they are illusory.

“The hardest thing is facing yourself. It’s easier to shout ‘revolution’ and ‘power to the people’ than it is to look at yourself and try and find out what’s real and what isn’t, when you try pull the wool over your own eyes and your own hypocrisy…that’s the hardest one.”
